How to Annoy a Chef: Easy. Have food allergies
I have battled irritable bowel syndrome for nearly 20 years and eczema for about the same. I have always suffered from one allergy or another but little did I know most of it stemmed from food! After my mom was diagnosed with celiac disease I realized I was likely dealing with some sort of autoimmune problem, but it wasn’t until after her death that I decided to bite the bullet and get tested. It's almost easier to list what I can eat rather than what I can't. I had a hard time accepting that I was allergic to so much. This blog is my attempt at compiling foods I can eat, as well as to shed some light on this weird journey. I don't have all the answers, but maybe I'll discover something about myself along the way. You are welcome to join me!
